جواد مجابی متولد ماه مهر ۱۳۱۸ در شهر قزوین شاعر, نویسنده, نقاشوی شاعر، نقاش، محقق ادبی-هنری، روزنامه نگار، طنز پرداز و داستان نویس است و بهتر است گفت یکی از شناخته شدهترین روشنفکران و هنرمندان معاصر که نامش همیشه در میان بزرگان آمده. از او تا به حال دهها کتاب تأثیرگذار و پرطرفدار در زمینهٔ داستان منتشر شدهاست و عموماً کتابهای او با اقبال خوبی از سمت خوانندگان، علیالخصوص خوانندگان حرفهای، مواجه میشود
