انقلاب ۵۷ تلاش یک عکاس زن معاصر ایرانی است که نسبت به رخدادهای اجتماعی دوران خود با مسئولیت حرفه‌ای رفتار کرده و نسبت به ثبت آنها همت گمارده است. تصاویر ارائه شده در این کتاب -که تنها بخشی از مجموعه چندهزار عکس دوران نقلاب تا سالها پس از آن است- فارغ از هر نوع جهت‌گیری، تصویر یکی از مردمی‌ترین و متفاوت‌ترین انقلاب‌های قرن بیستم را در حد توان به‌نمایش گذاشته است.
