محمود استاد محمد نمایشنامه نویس، کارگردان و بازیگر تئاتر ایرانی بود و کتاب حاضر دربردارندۀ دو نمایشنامه از ایشان می باشد. نمایشنامه تهرن در سال 86 براساس دغدغه ی همیشگی اش، یعنی حکومت مشروطه، و خاطراتش از زندگی در بندرعباس و نمایشنامه خونیان و خوزیان در سال 59 براساس واقعه آتش سوزی سینما رکس آبادان به نگارش در آمده است.
