داستان جاوید روایت زندگی واقعی یک پسرک از آیین کهن زرتشتی است که در دهه اول قرن و اوج فساد قاجار به وقوع میپیوندد. مصیبت و مظلمهای که بر یک انسان با ایمان وارد گردید، بافت اصلی روایت را تشکیل میدهد. انعکاسهای روحی او و نیروی ایمان او به سنتهای دیرینه نیاکانش نیز در روایت حفظ گردیده است.
