«دستور زبان فارسی معاصر به سال ۱۹۵۷ در فرانسه منتشر شد. برگردان انگلیسی آن نیز در ۱۹۹۲ در ایالات متحده امریکا به چاپ رسید. چنین بهنظر میرسد که پس از چهلواندی سال، این کتاب هنوز میتواند مفید باشد. چون دوستان ایرانی من خواستار آن شدهاند که برگردان آن را به زبان فارسی در اختیار هممیهنانشان بگذارند و برای مولف جای بسی خوشوقتی و افتخار است که این اثر در ایران نیز منتشر میشود.»
