روی کارآمدن بنیانگزار سلسله صفوی در طلیعه قرن دهم هجری قمری و آغاز قرن شاهزدهم میلادی یکی از رویدادهای بزرگ تاریخ ایران است که تا امروز از طرف مورخان خود ما کتاب اختصاصی در مورد وی نوشته نشده است.یکی از کارهای بنیان گزار سلسله صفوی در این کشور ایجاد وحدت سیاسی در ایران بود و آن وحدت تا امروز باقی مانده است.
