این نمایش نامه، داستان مردمان عادی جنگ است. "حسون"، "مطیر"، "بدریه" و "خالو" از اهالی خوزستان هستند که خاطرات خود را از روزهای آغازین جنگ و اشغال شهرهای ایران به دست نیروهای مهاجم عراقی از منظر خود باز میگویند. از این رو، روایت هر یک با دیگری در تناقض است. در ضمن این گفت و گوهاست که لافها، دروغها و در عین حال دلاوریها و رشادتها آشکار میشود....
