رهنگ ضرب المثلهای فارسی-انگلیسی سلیمان حییم اولین بار در سال 1334 و توسط انتشارات یهودا بروخیم در تهران به چاپ رسید. این اثر، صرفا یک فرهنگ فارسی به انگلیسی محسوب نمی شود؛ بلکه در اصل ثمره تلاش 30ساله مولف است در جهت شناساندن فرهنگ و ادبیات ایرانیان به فارسی آموزان انگلیس زبان و راهی است برای کمک به مترجمان کشور برای انتقال این مفاهیم به زبان های دیگر.
