عمری میان واج ها و واژه ها گذشت گاهی به شعر رسید و گاهی به عشق گاهی به رنج کشید و گاهی سرشک اکنون از دل آهن به آهین های رسیده ام که شراب چهل سالگی ام در آن پیداست. به راستی چه از دست ادبیات بر می آید؟ بسیار بودند شاعرانی که از ظلم ظالمان سرودند و وطن فروشی را ذم و نکوهش کردند؛ اما چه شد؟ عدالت گسترش یافت یا دیگر نشانی از وطن فروشی دیده نشد؟! دزدان دانا کم شدند یا مردمان ستمدیده؟ وظیفه ادبیات چیست؟
