دمدمای صبح،وقتی عمارت در روشنایی طلاییرنگ خورشید برق میزد،دخترک پریشان و دلدادهی آن عمارت بزرگ،بیحال و بیرمق از کشمکشی جانفرسا،سر در بالش فرو برد و بیتوجه به قطره اشکی که راه خود را از گوشه چشمش پیدا کرده بود،زیرلب با خود واگویه کرد: – تو آن بلای قشنگی که آمدی به سرم! و همان لحظه بود که خداوند ایستاده و با لبخند برایش دست میزد.
