داستانی بامزه و خنده دار درباره ی دختر بازیگوشی به نام لوتا پیترمن که از فلوت هندیش متنفر است و آن را مسبب تمام مشکلاتش می داند. لوتا برای داشتن یک حیوان خانگی تصمیم به پول درآوردن می گیرد، او فلوتش را بی اجازه برای فروش می گذارد، در قبال نگهداری از سگ خانم زگبرشت، طلب پول می کند و بسیاری کارهای دیگر که علاوه بر خودش دیگران را نیز به دردسر می اندازد.
