جلال الدین سلطان کاشفی متولد سال 1323، استاد گروه نقاشی، دانشکده هنرهای تجسمی، دانشگاه هنر تهران است. حوزه های تخصصی وی طراحی هندسی, نقاشی, نگارگری ایرانی, گرهسازی, زیبایی شناسی, رنگ, شیر, نقاشی ایرانی, نگارگری, کلیله و دمنه می باشد. آثار این هنرمند در سبک کاملاً انتزاعی و با استفاده از رنگ روغن و ترکیب مواد روی بوم خلق شده است. کتاب منتخبی از آثار جلال الدین سلطان کاشفی، توسط گالری ویستا به چاپ رسیده است
