پرویز منصوری (1303–1390) مدرس تئوری موسیقی و منتقد موسیقی بود. کتاب «تئوری بنیادی موسیقی» مشهورترین اثر اوست که در سال 1371 به عنوان «کتاب سال» در ایران برگزیده شد.
پرویز منصوری سالها استاد هنرستانهای موسیقی در تهران بود و در سالهای پس از انقلاب در اتریش زندگی میکرد. از او صدها نوشتار در زمینه نقد موسیقی، جامعهشناسی موسیقی، سازشناسی و… به زبان پارسی منتشر شدهاست.
