کتاب روابط بازرگانی روس و ایران ترجمۀ رسالهای است در بررسی روابط تجاری ایران و روسیه از پیمان ترکمنچای تا جنگ جهانی اول. در نتیجۀ موفقیت در جنگهای 1826 تا 1828 م، روسیه پیمان ترکمنچای را به ایران تحمیل کرد و تجارت خود را در این کشور گسترش داد. نویسنده در این کتاب کوشیده است تا نشان دهد چگونه حکومت تزاری روسیه از راه بازرگانی برای توسعۀ نفوذ سیاسی خود در ایران بهره جست و به چه منافعی دست یافت.
