رساله حاضر روابط صفویه و ازبکان رابا نگاهی به تاسیس سلسه اخیر و جنگ های آنها با تیموریان ماوراءالنهر و خراسان ) ازآغاز ظهور اختلاف میان شیبک خان و شاه اسماعیل (از 913 ه . ق ) تا برقراری صلح و آشتی میان دو طرف (در 1031) مورد بررسی قرار داده و طی آن به اوضاع ماوراءالنهر و خراسان تحت حکومت تیموریان تا بنیانگذاری امپراتوری سلسه اخیر در هند نیز پرداخته است .
