کتاب حاضر، نثری است ادبی به قلم یارعلی تبریزی (قرن .10م) .کتاب شامل مناظرهای است میان خزان و بهار که هر یک از این دو شخصیت درباره فواید خود سخن گفته خود را برتر از دیگری نشان میدهد .شخصیتهای دیگری همچون نسیم صبا، باد شمال و نرگس نیز در این مناظره شرکت دارند .مولف در لابهلای نوشتهها، ابیاتی چند از شاعران پیشین، به ویژه حافظ نقل کرده است .
