جلد دوم از مجموعه سیری در تاریکی های نمایش و ادبیات نمایشی ایران در عصر قاجار، ابتدا به معرفی و شناسایی نهضت آشنایی ایرانیان با تئاتر و ادبیات نمایشی عثمانی در عصر قاجار پرداخته، سپس با معرفی تاریخچه این اثر در جهان و تحلیل و تمرکز بر روی آن، در نهایت تصحیح جدیدی از ترجمه این نمایشنامه دیرینه سال ایرانی را به خوانندگان تقدیم می کند
